What locations do you serve?

We serve the tri-county area, including Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach County. Anywhere 29 miles or farther from our Hollywood office may have an additional travel fee. Email us at tammy@dizzydoodlefacepainting.com for travel fees.

What is the booking process?

Get in touch with us to provide us with the details of your event. To do that you can email me at tammy@dizzydoodlefacepainting.com, fill out our booking form, or text/call me at 754.333.4848. Then, we will send you a service agreement. A 50% deposit is required, which may be paid by check or credit card via Square invoice. This deposit is nonrefundable and holds your date and time. Once we have received your deposit, we’re all set to go!

How much time should I book?

It is always best to think of how many people will be interested in our services at your event.  On average, we can face paint 10-12 people per hour, depending on the complexity of the designs. Balloon twisting and glitter tattoos are closer to 15 people per hour and henna designs are 5-7 depending on how elaborate. We would hate for someone to miss out on the fun, so please scheduled our time accordingly.

When should I book you to start providing your services?

I recommend starting our services 30 minutes to an hour after the party festivities have begun. Guests tend to be fashionably late. However, if you are hosting a festival type event start time should be the same time as the festival begins.

What kind of paints do you use?

Dizzy Doodle Face Painting uses only professional face paint made with FDA compliant ingredients. They are applied using a damp brush or sponge. The main brands I use are Wolfe and FAB.

Is the glitter you use safe for the eye area?

We only use cosmetic grade glitter. This is not the same as craft glitter, which is larger cut, often made of glass or metal and unsafe for the eyes. Cosmetic grade is super finely cut and safe in the case that it gets in the eyes. It is also FDA compliant.

How do you remove face paint?

  1. Lather a gentle soap, such as baby shampoo, without water using a soft microfiber washcloth lightly in a circular motion. Don’t scrub!
  2. Wipe off excess paint.
  3. Rinse face.
  4. For stubborn colors (such as black or colors around the eyes), put a small amount of unscented lotion on a q-tip and carefully use it where paint remains.
  5. If face paint gets on clothing, use Ivory hand soap or trial hotel soaps (the kind you bring home from vacation!).

How do you remove water resistant face/body paint?

See above, steps 1-3 repeating as needed, using a liquid soap. Do not use water until step 3.

What happens if Dizzy Doodle gets sick or has an emergency?

If I feel like I am too sick to perform or feel like I am contagious, every effort will be made to find a replacement from our team of amazing artists. If no replacement is available,  I will contact you immediately and all fees will be refunded.

Are you insured?

Certainly! Dizzy Doodle and her team members have commercial liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
